    Look at all these people trying to get out of their timeshares! The maintenance fees have become ridiculously high and increase every single year, now $835 for Ridgetop. I am a Ridgetop owner since 1989 and are trapped into this arrangement. We cannot bring our small dog and since it is a fixed week we cannot exchange without it costing MORE money either through RCI or I.I. It has become more expensive since Wyndham bought it. The rental office is no help because they would rather continue to trap more potential buyers into ownership. You see a person/family can rent by the night for only $125 which is more affordable and less committed. I bought this unit for $7,900 and financed it for 5 years and are now willing to give it away. RT Unit 135, Week 11, 2nd or 3rd week in March. Has anyone been able to actually SELL their unit ?

      Just an FYI, there is a program out there called Ovation by Wyndham, where you can deed back your unit to Wyndham. You won’t get anything for it, but you will be released from having to pay any future maintenance fees. I spoke with someone today, and they said that my unit was eligible for the program. The process would take about 2 months. It doesn’t cost anything, but like I said you won’t get anything either. I am not sure how it would work with this years maintenance fees though, since they are due next month and the process takes 2 months. Would I still have to pay this year’s fees? guess I should have asked while I was on the phone. I think it would be a bit annoying to pay this years fee’s and then not get anything out of it. So I am thinking I might just keep it for this year, and start the process early next year.
      The whole thing seems like a ploy to me though. On one hand they are ratcheting up the fees every year, but then they are offering a super easy escape plan. It is almost like they are hoping all the owners leave, so they can redevelop the property or something

    Does Depuy offer rental exchanges? Who is the most user friendly site. We have Week 46 which usually falls on Thanksgiving and we just want to see other places or trade to a different week. Kids are all grown up so being in the Poconos for the week of Thanksgiving is no longer as enjoyable for us.

    1 or 2 weeks for sale.. Fees paid for 2018. D78C intervals 40 and 41. Mid October, fall foliage season, and usually Columbus day falls within one of the weeks. Our family has owned these 2 weeks since the units were built but cannot enjoy it anymore.. Spacious, 2 story villa (NOT saltbox), 2 Bdrs, 2 double beds in each, and full size pull out sofa in upstairs den. Bright unit, large porch and yard in back.
